Emergency Center Ukraine

During the Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, Kerabit’s Jouni Penttinen felt compelled to take action. Solar energy, his only weapon, prompted him to contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Helsinki, expressing his willingness to help. After a few weeks, the embassy proposed a design for an emergency center in the city of Chernihiv, aimed at ensuring operational continuity even during power outages.

With the support of the Finnish Ministry of the Interior and the European Commission, they have enabled the delivery of 114 panels, spread over two roofs, using Esdec Flat Fix mechanics. In addition, a 16 kWh battery backup system was implemented to increase the resilience and sustainability of the Emergency Center. Enstall Empowers is proud that we have been able to contribute to this initiative, which uses solar energy solutions.
