Covid crisis India

Our commitment to community outreach took on a global dimension as we responded to the urgent needs of our colleagues and associates in India during the COVID-19 pandemic.

India was hit hard by the pandemic, with the entire country in a prolonged lockdown for weeks. During this challenging time, our dedicated Indian office employees slept and worked in the office building. As the situation worsened, they were in desperate need of respirators.

In response, we launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for these medical devices. The campaign garnered incredible support, with 111 of our colleagues contributing a total of $6,750. Enstall Empowers doubled this amount, allowing us to purchase six ventilators and send them to India. Four were sent to our India office to ensure the safety and well-being of our colleagues, while the remaining two were sent to our Advisory Board office, Saikrishna & Associates.

The gesture of support and solidarity from Saikrishna & Associates was greatly appreciated. Out of gratitude, they offered to compensate us for our generosity. Together we decided that the money would be put to the best use by directing it to a local food donation program that provided free meals to those in need within the community.

As the situation in India gradually improved and returned to normal, the respirators served their crucial purpose. These life-saving devices were then donated to the Mohanji Foundation, a humanitarian organization committed to making a positive impact on society.
